Sky Sports can now add England to their coverage of the Home Nations football matches. This will include the Three Lions’ qualifying campaigns for the 2020 European Championships and the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Over the next six years, this is another reason as to why Sky Sports is the best place to get your fix of live football. The other home nations’ qualifying campaigns have been available to view on Sky Sports for a very long while but their home nations line-up has been massively strengthened with the introduction of England’s qualifying rounds.
This adds to a total of up to 900 live matches, and the UEFA Nations League will be available to be watched on Sky Sports. This is where all of the best nations in the world will face each other across 4 groups that are determined by world ranking. This will be played across September, October and November 2018 and the England fixtures will be exclusively available to Sky Sports customers. The winners of the four Nations League groups will play in the semi-finals and final in June 2019, where the seedings for the upcoming Euros and World Cup will be decided.
Sky Sports will also be showing Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland trying to get to the next major tournaments, which Scotland couldn’t manage for the 2016 Euros. And although you won’t be able to see England’s attempt to reach the 2018 World Cup in Russia, you’ll be able to watch the other home nations in their attempts to reach the next World Cup.
When that is over, England will be ready to go on Sky Sports, something that has been missing from Sky Sports for the last seven years. Sky sports customers will be over the moon to know that they can now see their home nation competing for their place at the Euros and the World Cup in Sky Sports’ ultra HD.
